About The Project

Moonlight Range Wind Farm is a proposed wind farm development on Morinish South farmland, about 40 kilometres west of Rockhampton. The proposed site is on Rosewood Wycarbah Road, south of Glenroy Road, and is within the federal seat of Flynn, state seat of Mirani and Local Government Area of Rockhampton Regional Council.

The area is made up of large farms and has a very low population density. The closest townships to the project site are Ridgelands, about 17 kilometres north-east, Gracemere, 36 kilometres south-east and Rockhampton 40 kilometres east. The proposed project site comprises six properties and about 20,000 hectares. It is an elevated site that incorporates the Moonlight Range ridgeline and existing farming operations can continue on the properties involved in the project.
